Ms. McCoy then obtained a Juris Doctor degree from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. During her time at U of L, she served as Managing Editor of the Brandeis Law Journal.
Ms. McCoy was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 2004 and the Ohio Bar in 2012. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Her practice has focused on insurance defense litigation, primarily in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, and medical malpractice. She also has extensive experience in workers’ compensation litigation, defending hospitals, industrial plants, and other employers on claims involving workplace injuries, hearing loss, occupational diseases, and deaths.
