Eliabeth Lanier (“Liz”) is an attorney in the Tampa office of Pozo-Diaz & Pozo, P.A. Liz joined the firm in 2024, bringing a wealth of experience in medical malpractice, general liability, and health care licensure defense. After working as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 17 years, Liz graduated from Kennesaw State University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, summa cum laude, and became licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse.
Her lengthy nursing career solidified her already strong sense of advocacy, and she went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law so that she could represent her clients in medical malpractice, personal injury, and licensure defense cases.
Liz became a member of the State Bar of Georgia in 1997, and of the Florida Bar in 2001. She keeps her nursing license in Florida active. She is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
