John R. Buchholz is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Civil Trial Law and is a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate under the National Board of Trial Advocacy – Florida Chapter. John has over 35 years of experience in the legal field practicing insurance defense litigation. He has practiced in the areas of torts, transportation law, automobile liability, negligent security, products and premises liability. In addition, he has experience in cases involving wrongful death, legal malpractice and breach of contract actions. John also has extensive trial experience. Prior to becoming an attorney, John was employed for eleven years in law enforcement with the Miami-Dade Police Department which gives him special insight into legal issues concerning negligent security, premises liability and automobile liability matters.

John R. Buchholz earned his undergraduate degrees in Education and Criminal Justice from Bowling Green State University and Florida International University, respectively. He was awarded his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami. John is admitted to practice law in the States of Florida and Colorado.
