Adam J. Tannen, is an experienced litigation attorney who is well versed in all areas of insurance defense litigation, including construction defect (F.S. 558 and 553) and work-related construction accidents. Mr. Tannen received his B.A. from the University of Central Florida and J.D. from Nova Southeastern University. Mr. Tannen focuses his practice on construction related litigation, wrongful death, negligent security, and trucking accidents.
Prior to joining Pozo-Diaz & Pozo, Mr. Tannen practiced insurance defense for a regional firm and an AM Law 200 firm in personal injury matters, including premises liability, general liability, personal injury protection and class actions. Mr. Tannen is an avid boater and tournament winning fisherman. Mr. Tannen was involved in the Ana Cecelia litigation which involved the first officially approved ship to sail from Miami to Cuba in 2012, resulting in a winning jury verdict. Additionally, Mr. Tannen has extensive experience representing distressed condominium associations and keeping them out of receivership, and helped prompt House Bill 1237, specifically, criminal penalties for theft or embezzlement of funds of an association.
