Hilary N. Wood is an attorney in the Miami office of Pozo-Diaz, P.A. After graduating from Tulane University of Law, cum laude, and Columbia University, cum laude, Hilary was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003. She is also admitted to the U.S. District Court, Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, the Alabama Middle District Bankruptcy Court; and she has been admitted pro hac vice in multiple jurisdictions. Hilary has argued appellate cases before the 3 rd DCA, and the 11 th Circuit Court of Appeals. Hilary joined the firm in 2024 to manage our Construction Practice. Prior to joining Pozo Diaz, Hilary was trial counsel for two fortune 500 insurance companies, where she handled both subrogation and defense claims involving construction liability and defects, general commercial liability, and Major Case Construction Subrogation. In addition, she also served as general counsel for one of the largest residential property developers in South Florida. Just prior to her tenure at PDP, she served as Trial and ESI counsel with one of the largest and successful mass tort firms in the United States. Hilary was recently invited to become a fellow with the Construction Lawyers Society of America. The Construction Lawyers Society of America is an invitation-only, selective, and limited membership international association of the world’s best construction lawyers. Hilary’s clients include commercial and residential developers locally, nationally and internationally, general and sub-contractors, and real estate executives and principals.
