Noah C. Nite, Esq.

Noah Nite grew up in Naples, FL. He was named a National Merit Finalist while attending Naples High School. Noah moved to Coral Gables in 2002 to attend the University of Miami after he was selected for the six-year Honors Program in Medicine. During college he studied French in Switzerland at the University of Lausanne. Noah graduated with honors in 2006 with a major in French and a minor in chemistry.

After college, Noah spent a year teaching in Miami at the Young Women’s Preparatory Academy in its opening year. He also taught English in Korea at a middle school in the city of Ansan, near Seoul.

Noah returned to the University of Miami to attend law school, where he graduated cum laude. He clerked for the Honorable John Schlesinger for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, and as a Judge Advocate General Intern for the U.S. Coast Guard. He also worked for the City Attorney of South Miami.

Noah has experience litigating both first and third party liability matters, including bodily injury, property insurance, and commercial litigation claims. He strives for clarity and persuasiveness in his writing, communication, and oral argument.

In his free time, Noah plays in a band. He enjoys reading fiction, going to the movies, attending church, and spending time with his wife, Linda.

John Weedon, Esq.

John Weedon is a litigator who focuses his practice in the defense of claims in the areas of casualty, including matters involving personal injury, automobile accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, product liability, negligent security and construction defect. John also defends property insurers throughout Florida in first party coverage matters. He handles all phases of the litigation process and has defended lawsuits in state and federal courts throughout Florida, South Carolina and nationwide for both local and national clients.
Prior to joining Pozo-Diaz & Pozo, he was a partner in the Jacksonville office of a national litigation firm. Previously he spent more than three years as an associate at a mid-size Charleston, South Carolina firm, where he began his legal career and clerked during law school. He also worked there as a paralegal prior to law school.
John is a member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys and the Defense Research Institute. He is also a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section Board of Governors, and he serves as the Chair for the Jacksonville Bar Association Sports League. Through the board, in addition to many other service projects, John is a participating mentor in the Jacksonville Bar Association’s mentoring project with Ribault High School, which has received recognition as the Service Project of the Year by the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division. He also volunteers as a Director and General Counsel for the Housing Corporation of the Mu Chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity through his alma mater, Washington & Lee University.
John lives in his hometown of Jacksonville with his wife, two sons, daughter, and two four-legged sidekicks. When he is not working, he can be found enjoying the beaches and the outdoors with his family, barbecuing, and avidly supporting the Jaguars and the Gators as a season ticket holder for both teams.

  •  Obtained defense verdict for Greenville, South Carolina based surgeon and his practice in a medical malpractice action regarding surgical procedure which resulted in permanent injuries.

Brad Eubanks, Esq.

Brad Eubanks is originally from Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from Bishop Kenny High School in 1997. He has been practicing in insurance defense litigation his entire legal career and actively litigates in State and Federal courts, representing clients in construction defect claims, commercial litigation, general liability, contract disputes, personal injury, automobile negligence, slip and fall, negligent security, first party property claims, bad faith and coverage disputes.

Ron Thackery, Esq.

Mr. Thackery recently joined the firm following a long career at American Medical Response. Ron had responsibility for safety, risk management, claims management, procurement and controlled substances administration. Previously, he was responsible for the integration of acquired companies into AMR, fleet administration, paramedic training schools and the Logistics team for FEMA deployments. During his 22 years he led many teams of caregivers and leaders in the development of innovative programs in EMS. Mr. Thackery received the Distinguished Service to Safety award from the National Safety Council in 2007, the highest individual award bestowed by the Council. He recently received the Walter J. Schaeffer Award for Excellence from the American Ambulance Association. He served on the Board of Directors for the National Safety Council and chairs the Professional Standards and Research Committee of the American Ambulance Association. He is a frequent presenter in EMS, Risk Management and Legal settings. Prior to his service at AMR, he was Senior Counsel to Federal Express. Mr. Thackery holds a BA in Humanities from Christian Brothers University and a JD from the University of Memphis.

Donald Guthrie, Esq.

Don served with distinction as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer in the prestigious US Army Berlin Brigade during the peak of the Cold War, and as a Company Commander and Battalion Staff Officer with the elite 101st Airborne Division. After an early medical discharge from the Army, Don returned to his home state and earned his law degree from the University of Florida.

He brings considerable legal experience to his current position combining the courtroom skill he gained through working as an Assistant Public Defender in Duval County and knowledge by working in a larger personal injury law firm. Additionally, Don has served as a volunteer mediator in the State Attorney’s Fourth Judicial Circuit Diversionary Program, designed to render speedy justice without involvement in the traditional court system. He is affiliated with numerous professional
legal associations and trial groups, including the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and Jacksonville Defense Lawyers Association.

As an active member of the community, Don is also a founding member of
the Jacksonville National Cemetery Advisory Committee, an organization that was instrumental in the efforts to establish a National Veterans Cemetery for North Florida to serve our Veterans and their families’ needs well into the next century. Don is a member of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans Chapters and participates in their community service activities. Don also volunteers with the Community Hospice of Northeast Florida with emphasis on their outreach program, designed to educate veterans on Hospice’s comprehensive program focused on end-of-life care needs that are unique to military veterans and their families. Additionally, he is an attorney volunteer with The Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program based out of Washington, D.C., an organization that provides legal representation to veterans at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

Mr. Guthrie was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1997 and practices in the areas of insurance defense litigation, with particular emphasis on personal injury; premises liability; construction and design defects; automobile liability; products liability; and negligent security. Adam Tannen, Esq.

Adam Tannen is an Associate in the firm’s Miami office and focused his practice general civil and commercial litigation with an emphasis on insurance related claims. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Central Florida and Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University where he was a recurring member of the Dean’s List.

Prior to joining Pozo-Diaz & Pozo, Mr. Tannen practiced insurance defense for an AM Law 200 firm in personal injury matters, including premises liability, general liability, personal injury protection and class actions. Additionally, Mr. Tannen has extensive experience representing distressed condominium associations and helped prompt House Bill 1237, specifically, criminal penalties for theft or embezzlement of funds of an association.

Orlando Valle, Esq.

ORLANDO VALLE was born in San Leandro, California.  He procured his Bachelor of Science degree from California State University-Stanislaus in Business Administration-Finance.  Thereafter, he earned his Juris Doctorate degree from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2001.  After procuring his law degree, he then attended the University of Miami LL.M. program in Inter-American Law.

After completing his academic career, Mr. Valle began his career as a litigation attorney in 2002.  Since that time, he had devoted the bulk of his practice to defending individuals and businesses throughout the State of Florida in multiple types of cases in both federal and state cases.  Consequently, he has been an active member in multiple organizations such as The Florida Defense Lawyers Association (“FDLA”) and  The Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (“CLM”).  In addition, Mr. Valle has lectured claims personnel and company officers and counsel regarding matters related to his practice and those affecting their respective businesses.

Larry S. Kraslow, Esq.

LARRY S. KRASLOW joined the firm in 2017. He has over 30 years experience in the legal field, practicing in various areas, including insurance defense litigation. He has practiced in the areas of torts, automobile liability, negligent security, and premises liability. In addition, he has experience in cases involving commercial litigation.
Mr. Kraslow earned his undergraduate degree from Hofstra University in marketing. He was awarded his Juris Doctorate degree from the University Miami in 1986. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Kraslow was employed in law enforcement, which gives him additional insight into legal issues concerning negligent security, premises liability and automobile liability matters.

Jaime A. Pozo, Esq.

JAIME A. POZO is a native of South Florida and a resident of the City of Coral Gables. In 2010, he joined the firm of Martha Pozo-Diaz, P.A., which was established by his sister in 1991. Upon him joining the firm, it reorganized as Pozo-Diaz & Pozo, P.A. Mr. Pozo joined the firm to diversify its transactional practice and support the needs of its current clients with his extensive litigation experience. Mr. Pozo also continued his practice defending the interest of insurance companies, its insureds and various clients with high self-insured retention in the areas of premises liability, products liability, automobile/fleet/trucking liability, personal injury (defense), construction defects and construction related claims, pre-suit accident investigation, professional liability, ADA and accessibility claims, emergency medicine, workers compensation, including Employer “B” liability claims and co-employment related matters.
Since his admission to the Florida Bar, Mr. Pozo has been trained in handling all aspects of full file responsibility from pre-suit to trial. Peter A. Miller, Esq.

PETER A. MILLER is of counsel to Pozo-Diaz & Pozo, P.A and has been a trial lawyer since 1975. Mr. Miller is admitted to all District and Appellate Courts in the State of Florida, as well as the United States district courts for the Southern States District and Middle District of Florida. He us also certified as a trial lawyer by the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Miller specializes in general liability defense, religious organization defense, legal malpractice defense, construction litigation defense, products liability defense, E.E.O.C. defense, employment practices defense, long term lessor liability defense and insurance and bad faith defense.
