Martha Pozo-Diaz, Esq. is an experienced attorney based in Miami, Florida, with a practice focused on real estate and business law. A native of South Florida, she resides in Coral Gables and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2005, after completing her bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Miami.
Ms. Pozo-Diaz has extensive experience representing a diverse client base, including banking institutions, private and institutional lenders, home builders, developers, entrepreneurs, and individual property owners. Her practice encompasses all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, development, financing, and dispositions. She manages the full transactional lifecycle for buyers, sellers, developers, and lenders, including structuring asset-secured and construction loans, negotiating loan commitments, reviewing title matters, preparing loan documentation, and closing transactions. She also advises lenders on due diligence, loan workouts, and disposition strategies.
Her broader real estate practice includes commercial, office, industrial, restaurant, and shopping center leasing; mortgage finance and workouts; multi-family and condominium development; title insurance matters; and the drafting, negotiation, and enforcement of real property contracts and agreements. Ms. Pozo-Diaz also represents landlords and tenants in both commercial and residential disputes and counsels clients on transactional and commercial legal matters.
Known for her strong work ethic and creative problem-solving approach, Ms. Pozo-Diaz is committed to providing personalized, strategic, and results-driven legal representation. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the American Bar Association and actively participates in pro bono and community initiatives. She previously served two terms on the City of Coral Gables Property Advisory Board, following her appointment by City Commissioner Ralph Cabrera.
